There are still hundreds of families living in northwestern Syria under the ruins.

In Syria, after the earthquake, rescuers pulled little Noor from under the rubble of a house, who spent 12 hours there. The child was brought to the surface alive.

About this informs edition of vesty.co.il.

The girl was pulled out from under the debris of one of the residential buildings in the town of Afrin in the Syrian province of Aleppo, which collapsed during the February 6 earthquake. The child was handed over to the father.

“Don’t be afraid, dad is near, Nur, look at me” – a rescuer supported the baby during the operation.

These moments were caught on camera and went around the world.

The video shows the girl’s face covered with a thick layer of dust, as well as how the rescuer asks her to talk to her father, look at him and make sure that everything is being done to save her.

This footage was published on February 7 by the “White Helmets” organization, which is conducting a rescue operation in areas of Syria controlled by opponents of President Bashar al-Assad’s regime. The organization warned that there are still hundreds of families living in northwestern Syria under the ruins.

We will remind you that on February 6, an earthquake with a magnitude of 7.8 occurred in Turkey – the most powerful in the country in the last more than 80 years. As a result of the earthquake, Syria was also affected, and aftershocks also occurred in Cyprus, Egypt and Lebanon.

4,544 people became victims of the earthquake in Turkey, and another 26,721 people were injured. These are data as of the evening of February 7. At the same time, 1,782 people died in Syria, and 3,749 people were injured.

In particular, as a result of the earthquake in Syria, the sister of the country’s Prime Minister Husein Arnous, Nessum Arnous, along with her children and grandchildren, died.
