A freight train derailed: a railway accident occurred in Belgorod Oblast

On the night of Sunday, June 11, 15 wagons of a freight train derailed in the Belgorod region.

This was reported by the local public and the governor of the Russian region, Vyacheslav Gladkov.

The incident happened in the Oleksiiv city district. The carriages of the train, which was headed to the “station of one of the enterprises”, were allegedly empty, they derailed near the railway station. There are apparently no casualties as a result of the incident.

Emergency services are working at the scene of the incident, the reasons for it have not been reported.

It will be recalled that another Russian colonel was killed in the Belgorod region. A soldier was killed by volunteers during a shooting battle, he was trapped in his official car.
