“A difficult war is ahead”: Prigozhin criticized the Russian army and called for “martial law”

The leader of PMK “Wagner” understands that Russia has already lost the war.

Yevhen Prigozhin, the founder of the Wagner PMC terrorist group, said in one of the interviews that a difficult war is ahead for the Russians. And that the occupiers are in such a state that they can lose Russia. The leader of the Wagnerites called for martial law, closing all borders and working for the war.

Political consultant Dmytro Vasiliev told about this in an exclusive interview with TSN.ua.

“He understands that the war is already lost. That is why he withdraws his troops from Bakhmut, because he understands that it will be very hot there. Accordingly, he makes those calls because Prigozhin cooperates with the Kremlin and many experts and insiders are talking about it. Well, you can also guess about it by rhetoric. That is why he makes those appeals to Russian society that should at least somehow wake people up so that they shout “For the Motherland” like Lapin,” the expert said.

But as Vasiliev noted, Russian society does not want to do this: most try either to escape or not to go to war or surrender:

“Yes, there are absolutely loyal Russians who think that they are fighting “for the Motherland”, there are enough professional soldiers. But this does not happen and will not happen on a large scale. They are simply testing society to what extent it can be pumped so that it at least somehow began to react. But the Russians do not want to do this, because they are beginning, apparently, to separate themselves from Putin. Theoretically, I do not think that anything has changed. Even when mobilization was announced (by the way, they already have long-term continued mobilization , not even partial, but full) by e-mail, even if a person has not received it – he is already considered mobilized,” said Dmytro Vasiliev.

Therefore, if a Russian does not appear at the mobilization point, he violates the law and is no longer allowed abroad:

“That is, there are all signs that this mobilization is ongoing. But the military commissars of the Russian Federation cannot cope with such a flow, they were not prepared for it. Therefore, they can declare martial law and full mobilization, but the military commissars cannot cope with such a flow of those involved in the war against Ukraine . In addition, there is nothing to arm these mobilized people. That is why they do not declare this state of war, because they understand what the problem is in the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff, and in Russia in general,” added political consultant Dmytro Vasiliev.

It will be recalled that Prigozhin announced the withdrawal of his “Wagner” PMC unit from Bakhmut. According to him, the mercenaries “captured all the promised territories.”
