Iconic musician Neil Young is showing no signs of slowing down as he continues to release new music for his dedicated fan base. The year 2024 has proven to be especially exciting for Young, with the announcement of his upcoming album “Early Daze” set to be released on June 10. This album will feature a mix of previously unreleased tracks recorded back in 1969 by Young’s early band Crazy Horse.

“Early Daze” will include 10 tracks that have never before been released, showcasing the early lineup of Crazy Horse. This archival LP will be Young’s third album release of the year, following the release of “Dume” in February and the live album “Fuckin’ Up” in late April. The latter title was credited to both Young and Crazy Horse and spent one week on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart upon its release.

The upcoming album “Early Daze” is anticipated to feature six tracks that have not been heard by fans before. In addition, fans can expect to hear different versions of some of Young’s classic tunes, such as “Cinnamon Girl” and others. While many fans may be eager to purchase the album, Young recently made the decision to return his music to streaming platforms like Spotify after years of keeping his material off these sites.

Young publicly expressed his frustration with Spotify’s payment to artists, acknowledging that he had lost his battle against the company. Despite his reservations, Young recognized the importance of utilizing streaming platforms in order to reach a wider audience and continue making a living as a musician. With his extensive discography and continued dedication to creating new music, Neil Young remains a prominent figure in the music industry, captivating audiences with his timeless sound and unwavering passion for his craft.
